Davis Mathis (he/him) is a writer and a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. He is an aspiring television comedy writer and a former co-captain of the Sarah Lawrence women’s volleyball team. Since high school, he has participated in a number of theatrical productions and has co-written a number of short films. Heath Lynch (he/him) has been writing about film off and on for almost two decades, but most of his work has been published over the past handful of years. He enjoys awards caliber films just as much as big studio blockbusters, he treats the Oscars like a holiday, and is also one of the co-hosts of the Franchise Paradiso podcast. He’s married to his lovely wife, Emily, and cherishes being a girl dad to his step-daughter, Catie, and daughter, Ryan. More than anything, he just likes to relax, sit on the couch with his dog, Vraska, and watch movies.

Foster Harlfinger (he/him) is a high school math teacher located just outside New York City. You might catch him reading, writing, drawing, playing chess, listening to music, or pursuing whatever topics capture his interest on any given day, but nothing has been able to steal his heart quite like film. From the early days of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton to the franchise films of today, he remains in humble pursuit of his goal to watch every movie ever made — let’s see how it goes!

Robert Bouffard (he/him) is a writer, editor, podcaster, tutor, sports fan, and sometimes filmmaker. His first love was sports, so Robert spends more time than he would like agonizing over the Boston Red Sox and Celtics. He also likes playing sports, ranging from basketball to pickleball to disc golf. Robert of course also spends much of his time watching movies and TV. He’ll watch just about anything, but apart from favorites like Lord of the Rings, Moneyball, or New Girl, he likes to check out stuff he hasn’t seen before; there’s never a bad time to expand your film knowledge!

Ian Hubbard
Contributing Writer
Ian Hubbard (he/him) is an actor based in Harlem who, when not acting (and he often isn’t, but you can change that!), is probably watching something of some kind. That could be cheering on his hometown Royals and Chiefs, catching up with pre-2000 Oscar nominations, or attacking the Critical Role Campaigns backlog with a fervor best attributed to a pre-tooth child with a rack of ribs. He’s an avid listener of all things music, and enjoys collecting new hobbies like Pokémon cards. No, he doesn’t collect Pokémon cards… anymore.

Shane Conto (he/him) is an educator by day and a full blown cinephile who dabbles in all types of film circles the rest of the time. YouTuber, writer, and podcaster, Shane highlights his love for film amongst other hobbies (from TV, books, music, sports, and video games) through reviews, podcasts, and a variety of written projects. Running a tutoring center and teaching statistics does not stop Shane from exploring his deep passion for the arts in all the avenues that he can.

May Honey (they/them) is an aspiring writer, filmmaker, and living media encyclopedia. You’ll likely see them spending their time going in depth into an obscure horror film, or defending a maligned superhero movie. Also an avid music lover, they love everything from metal to Mozart. They’re open to any and everything, and you truly never know what you’re going to get from them.

Contributing Writer
Kat Rutschilling (she/her) is a literature and writing student at Sarah Lawrence College where she is an RA and president of Taylor Swift Society (in a really cool way). When she’s not wrangling freshmen or reading Edith Wharton, you can probably find her making a collage about a book for her Instagram (@thekatreviewof). When she grows up she wants to be a novelist, but she would settle for writing unpaid articles on her friend Rowan’s website if it came down to it.

Mike Hilty (he/him) is a writer and fearless leader/podcaster on the SPDM Crew podcasting network. He currently hosts four solo podcasts: SPDM TV on television, Sportsball on sports fandom, Family Movie Night on kids’ movies, and Mix CD on 80-minute themed playlists. He also co-hosts Geeks Speak Louder Than Nerds with Nick Ferro. Mike focuses his writing on television, but his first love is movies. When he’s not writing, podcasting, or watching an insane amount of television, Mike is a proud Girl Dad and active in his community and church.
